Bischoff: Welcome to where the biggest names in wrestling compete... The WWA!!!
JR: We are on the road again to Super Card folks and more drama is sure to unfold tonight!!!
CM Punk comes out and says Samoa Joe’s been playing him for a punk. His name is “CM Punk” but don’t get it twisted. He is the best in the world and didn’t need Samoa Joe to go through the whole Dangerous Alliance to get to him and a shot at the championship. Punk says he hides behind no men and no group. Punk says he does not need the Dangerous Alliance and will beat Samoa Joe at Super Card by himself. Joe runs out to the ring and they brawl but officials rush in the ring as fans chant "Let them fight!"
Impact Players vs. Dolph Ziggler & Kofi Kingston
Dolph and Roode start us off with some basic waist and wrist-lock exchanges. Roode leap-frogs over Ziggler twice and Ziggler nails him with the sickest drop kick. Kofi tags in and they do a double-leapfrog dropkick. Kofi and Ziggler start utilizing some spiffy double-team combos comprising of all sorts of dropkicks and backflips. Kofi tries a cross-body onto Roode and gets belly-to-belly suplexed out of his boots for a near fall. Heels take over control from here, with Roode nailing Kofi with a dropkick and then grinding him down with a scissors-hold on the mat. Roode works a sleeper on Kofi for a bit until Kofi tags out to Ziggler, whose all fired up and takes it out on Roode with a flurry of chops and drop kicks. Ziggler tries for the ZigZag, but Roode holds on to the ropes! Zigler lands down hard! Sick. Roode grabs a hold of Ziggler's arm and grinds him down as the crowd starts to rally behind Ziggle. They trade cradle near falls and Roode explodes with a huge lariat on Ziggler for another two count. Aries finally tags in and delivers an inverted pile-driver and Ziggler still kicks out. Ziggler tries to tag out, but Aries applies the Last Chancery on him and then tags Roode in, who chokes Ziggler behind the ref's back with some classic heel antics. Big neckbreaker from Roode and Aries tags back in as Ziggler takes the babyface beatdown of the year before blocking Roode’s Pay Off with a gut kick and a Fame-Asser from outta nowhere. Finally Kofi gets the hot tag and the former I.C. Champ explodes on Aries with a series of dropkicks and forearms. Kingston does the frog-splash cross-body onto Aries and the crowd totally buys into the near fall, but somehow Aries kicks out! Kofi hits the Boom Drop on him, followed by the S.O.S., but Roode breaks the pin up. Roode then goes over to brawl with Ziggler out by ringside, while Aries delivers the Brain Buster on a distracted Kofi for the pin. Your winners are the Impact Players… Aries holds up the I.C. Title and screams to Ziggler that he can’t touch him.
Backstage
Mean Gene with John Cena. Cena says he is grateful for the WWA Tag Team title shots at Super Card. Cena says he and Sheamus will get the job done against Batista and Edge. Cena says he hasn’t forgotten though why he isn’t WWA Champ right now and the reason is Hulk Hogan. Cena says the Hogan name is now synonymous with cowardice and treachery. He says Hoagn can’t run and can’t hide. Cena tells Hogan to man-up , to meet him in the ring at Super Card face to face, and to answer for his actions. Cena says he will call out Hogan at Super Card. Batista and Edge attack from outta nowhere but Sheamus rushes unto the scene for the save and drives them off.
AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
AJ comes out and says his thirst for gold has gotten him in trouble lately. He talks about challenging CM Punk a few weeks ago and eating a F-5 unto the steel steps at the end of the match. Then last week, he asked Orton to help him chase U.S. Tag Team gold, but Orton snapped and gave him a RKO. AJ says he’s going into business for himself and those mistakes will not happen again. Orton comes out and the match is on.
AJ starts by punching Orton in the face. He pushes Randy into the corner and follows with a punch. AJ whips Orton to the other corner, but Orton bounces out and hits a clothesline. Orton knocks AJ to the mat, and rolls to the outside. On the outside, Orton hits a series of uppercuts to the head of AJ which is hanging over the apron. Orton backs AJ in the corner, and the referee makes him back off. AJ slaps Orton in the face. AJ knocks Orton down to the ground, but quickly Orton gets to his feet and whips AJ into the ropes. AJ holds on to avoid bouncing back at Orton, so Orton clotheslines him over the top rope and to the outside. Orton slams AJ into the rail and rolls him back in the ring. Back in the ring, Orton is stomping on AJ. Orton lifts up AJ and tries for a RKO, but AJ blocks the attempt. AJ instead hits an enziguiri. AJ goes for a cover, but only gets two count. AJ sets up Orton under the bottom rope and hits a seesaw. AJ then goes for a back splash, but Orton moves out of the way. Orton tries for an RKO, but AJ counters into a backslide. Orton kicks out. AJ knocks Orton down to the mat again, and goes for a cover. Orton kicks out. AJ drags Orton to the middle of the ring, and attempts a 450-Splash. Orton moves and AJ lands on his feet, and quickly nails a PELE KICK. The cover gets a two count.. AJ grabs Orton but Orton breaks free with a series of elbows to the gut of AJ. Orton bounces off the ropes, but AJ connects with a SHINING WIZARD KICK. Cover attempt, but Orton kicks out. AJ hits a standing knee drop to the head of Orton. Cover, Orton kicks out. AJ locks on a rear headlock. The crowd begins a "This is AWESOME" chant. Orton escapes by lifting AJ into the air and hitting an elevated side slam. Both men get to their feet, and AJ is whipped into the ropes. Scoop slam connects from Orton. Orton gets AJ to the ropes and hits the HANGMAN DDT. Orton stalks AJ and nails the RKO!!!! One ..Two…Nooo, since AJ’s feet is on the ropes! A livid Orton snaps and RKO’s the referee!!! Orton rolls out the ring and leaving the ref laying. AJ yells for Orton to come back and fight. This match is NO CONTEST.
Backstage
Mean Gene with The Resident Evil. Kane and Abyss talk about Mark Henry and Big Show being their latest lambs of sacrifice. They say people have started calling Henry and Show a monster team but they are the only monsters in the WWA. Both men grab Gene and almost double choke slam the old man into a dumpster until Show and Henry attack. They fight off the Resident Evil, who retreat for once ever!
In-Ring
“YES! YES! YES!” chants all over the arena as Daniel Bryan comes out to the ring to his music. Bryan takes a mic and thanks the fans, as the “YES” chants continue. He says the past two weeks have really got him thinking. Bryan says he thinks he’s been selling himself short here in the WWA. He now figures that clearly he should be setting his goals higher since he’s now doing things like taking the WWA Champion to the limit and even beating him last week. Bryan believes he can be WWA champion. “YES! YES! YES!” chants all over the arena again … but Kurt Angle’s music interrupts, as the WWA Champion makes his way out to the ring. Angle says Bryan needs to get his head out of the clouds and quit reaching for stars. He admits Bryan is damn good, but he’s also been the luckiest man alive the past two weeks. He calls Bryan a “B+ competitor at best and not WWA Champion material”… Glass breaks, music plays as Sherriff Stone Cold comes out. Austin says we will see about Bryan not being WWA champion material. Austin announces that he met with Paul Heyman and has postponed Lesnar’s title opportunity because he’s hell bent on killing Jeff Hardy instead. Stone Cold says he met with Hardy and Jeff wants to kill Brock too, “Hell he tried last week”, Stone Cold says. So at Super Card it will now be Jeff Hardy versus Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match. So instead of Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle will now defend his WWA Championship at Super Card against … DANIEL BRYAN!!! Crowd goes ape shit!!!!! Bryan and Angle go face to face talking smack as Angle holds up the championship belt.
