Backstage:
Paul Heyman is being questioned by Stone Cold as to his whereabouts lately and progress with the Resident Evil. Heyman says he’s got things under control. He says he successfully kept Kane and Abyss away last week when they weren’t scheduled for a match and ensured that they didn’t engage in any random acts of senseless violence. Heyman is interrupted by Edge and Abyss who also want answers of their own from Heyman. Heyman tries to explain but Edge and Batista grab him by the collar and escort him away.

Paul Heyman is seen with Edge and Batista. Heyman is begging an apologizing. Heyman assures them that they are still the Dangerous Alliance. Heyman talks about their mutual investment in each other. He says they need to focus on the big picture and remain bought into the vision. Heyman says the Dangerous Alliance is getting stronger, but they all have to carry their own weight. That means getting back the WWA Tag Team Championships. Edge and Batista agree, but bring up CM Punk. Heyman reiterates that they need to carry their own weight.
Austin Aries© vs. Rey Mysterio
Aries grabs a wristlock and brings Rey to one knee. Rey rolls through but gets taken back to the mat. Rey kips up, cartwheels, and reverses into a wristlock of his own. Aries does the same, reapplies the wristlock, and transitions into a hammerlock. Rey tries to escape but Aries brings him to the mat and puts his shoulders down for a 2-count. Rey gets to his feet and takes Aries down with a monkey flip. Aries then hits a monkey flip of his own, knuckles still locked, and covers for 2. Rey tries for a roll-up but Aries rolls through. Rey and Aries dodge one another's kicks and Aries cartwheels out of a headscissors takedown. Both men retreat to their corners in a good ol' fashioned standoff as we head to commercial.
Rey hits a tilt-a-whirl armbreaker/armbar as we come back from the break. Aries sends Rey into the corner, who does a headstand on the top turnbuckle. Aries pushes him to the apron then kicks him off to the floor. Aries heads outside and drops Rey face-first on the apron then poses for the crowd. Aries rolls Rey back in and covers for 2. Aries puts Rey in the corner and chokes him with his boot then follows up with a snap suplex for another 2-count. Aries quickly goes into a chinlock. Aries transitions into pulling Rey's arms behind his back then kicks him. Aries climbs over the fallen Rey and applies an armbar before rolling him over and goes back to the sort-of surfboard. Rey kicks his way out, dodges a corner splash, ducks a clothesline, and hits a standing hurricanrana. Aries falls onto the second rope and Rey hits a springboard legdrop followed by a springboard dropkick for the 1...2...kickout.
Rey grabs Aries's arms but Aries reverses out and rolls him up for 2. Rey catches a kick and turns it into a powerbomb for the 1...2...kickout. Rey heads to the top but Aries connects with a right hand, crotching him on the strut. Aries connects with a series of forearms as he climbs to the second rope. Aries gets Rey into position and connects with a delayed vertical superplex. Aries rolls over and drapes the arm over Rey for the 1...2...kickout. Aries and Rey trade forearms and chops. Rey ducks a chop and hits some open hand slaps followed by a back kick but runs into a kick by Aries. Aries goes for the Last Chancery finish but Rey rolls out and grabs a double arm chicken wing. Aries rolls through and rolls Rey up for the 1...2...kickout. Aries connects with a loud Superkick to the skull and finishes him off with BRAIN BUSTER for the 1...2...3. Your winner and still Intercontinental Champion is Austin Aries.

Video airs with John Cena saying he got the memo to appear tonight but he’s “busy.” Video cuts to Cena in a Las Vegas bar drinking, playing the slots and the card tables. Cena is shown laughing and joking and having a great time. Cena is shown drawing a crowd and making lots of friends in the bar. We then see John Cena talking to Jack Evans at the bar. We see a bar fight break out, with Cena and Evans having each other’s back. The end of the bar fight shows Cena and Jack Evans standing tall. Cena says, “You can’t see me!” Evans adds, “And you know this, Maaaan!” Both men laugh as they chug more beer and video fades outs! We hear Cena's voice say finally, "Don't worry, I'm coming back soon..Like a thief in the night!!!"

Crowd chants “Joe! Joe! Joe!” for a minute. They lock and Sheamus powers Joe into a corner for a clean break. The lock up again with Joe out-powering Sheamus and cornering him. Sheamus quickly reverses and loads Joe up in the corner, with a right hands and back elbows. Joe reverses and retaliates with some chops and right hands on of his own. Joe with a hiptoss out of the corner. Sheamus comes back running with a head of steam but Joe lowers the bridge and then clips Sheamus’ knee. Joe with some kicks and sets up for a running kick but runs into a side-slam. Sheamus tries to steal the pin but gets only TWO. Sheamus sets up for the Celtic Cross but Joe backdrops him. Joe follows out with the BURRITO SUICIDA! 1…2…NO……. Joe grabs Sheamus by the hair and smacks him around, but Sheamus comes back with rights and some knees and a neck-breaker for TWO. Sheamus follows with WHITE NOISE and covers for two and a half this time. Sheamus gouges Joe’s eyes, nails a hard fist, and then they slug it out. Both men off the ropes and Sheamus wins that with a shoulder block! Both men run the ropes but Joe trips Sheamus up and sends him crashing outside. Joe sends Sheamus into the guardrail on the floor. Joe sends Sheamus right back into the ring. Joe delivers a fury of consecutive offenses… YAKUZA KICK!! Joe with the SAMOAN SEMI!! A PELE in the corner!!! Joe puts him up top for the Muscle Buster. Sheamus fights out and breaks it up. Sheamus with a DOUBLE AXE HANDLE off the turnbuckle and calls for the Brouge kick. Joe avoids the move and nails a RUNNING STO!!! Joe stalks Sheamus and locks in the COQUINA CLUTCH!!!! Batista and Edge run out into the ring and begin attacking both men!!! Ref calls for the bell. SPEAR to Joe!!!! BATISTA BOMB to Sheamus!!! Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan vs. Kane© and Abyss© w/ Paul Heyman
The fans are 100% behind the “American Idols.” Angle and Kane start off here. A slow start to the match as they are feeling each other out. Angle slaps Kane but Kane quickly works over Kurt with overhand strikes and a knee lift. Angle is able to clothesline Kane to the floor. Tag to Bryan. Bryan runs and nails the baseball slide as Kane crashes to the guardrails. Bryan wants to the go for an over the top rope splash on Kane, but Bryan is dragged to the floor by Abyss and sent into the guard railing shoulder first. Kane throws Bryan into the ring and then drives Bryan down to the mat with a vertical suplex for a near fall. Kane tags in Abyss. Abyss focuses on wrenching Bryan's neck but that doesn't last. He sends Bryan to the ropes and Abyss catches Bryan on a cross body attempt. Abyss goes for the Black Hole Slam, but Bryan reverses it into a swinging DDT. Tag to Angle. Angle runs at Abyss but the monster catches him and just slams him down for a two count. Angle avoids a splash in the corner and hits a German suplex. Angle tries for the Angle Slam but Abyss got out of it and hit the BLACK HOLE SLAM!!! 1….2…NOOOO as Bryan runs in and makes the save. Tag to Kane. Kane attempts the Choke Slam, but Angle reverses and Angle goes for the ANGLE SLAM. 1….2….NOOOO with Abyss making the save this time. Kane avoids the ankle lock and nails the CHOKESLAM on Kurt. 1….2…NOOOO as Bryan rushes in for the save. Angle and Kane down. Eventually, Angle recovers and locks in the ANKLE LOCK!!!! Kane is able to reach the ropes on a strong effort. Angle rushes at Kane, who ducks and we have a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE as both men go down. Kane is able to tag in Abyss and Angle makes it to Bryan for the tag right on time. Abyss lunges at Bryan, who takes advantage and traps Abyss in the YES LOCK!!! Abyss fights out and pushes Bryan off. He lunges at Bryan again only to get caught in a second YES LOCK!!! Abyss fights out again, but Bryan cinches down on his arm to try and lock it in again. Abyss gets out of a third attempt and sends Bryan right into the referee who falls down. REF BUMP!!! Heyman tosses a chair in the ring and Abyss nails Bryan over the head with a steel chair. A second referee comes out but Abyss gets only a two count as Angle breaks it up! Abyss takes care of the second referee with the SHOCK TREATMENT. Abyss gets his bag of thumbtacks and spreads them in the ring next to Bryan’s broken body. Kane and Abyss grab Bryan by the neck and Kurt looks like he is going to try to stop this… Instead, Kurt drops down to the apron, grabs his WWA championship, turns around and walks away (Chorus of boos from the crowd).
